My Approach
I am a Counsellor and Psychotherapist who treats adults, children and teenagers
My clients can explore the difficulties they are facing from a fully qualified and experienced BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) psychotherapeutic counsellor. I offer a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can explore personal or difficult issues that may be causing you distress.
My professional training and experience enables me to work with clients on either a short-term goal-orientated basis or an open-ended longer-term basis to enable us to explore personal challenges at a deeper level. I am experienced counselling children, teenagers and adults of all ages.
Counselling is not about giving advice or me telling you what to do. It is about exploring thoughts and feelings around the issues or concerns you have in your life and discovering how to move forward in the best possible way for you.
I use an integrative approach consisting of person centred, psychodynamic and CBT. This allows for an individual tailored approach to suit each client’s unique needs.
Qualifications & Experience
Foundation Degree (Level 5) in Psychotherapy and Therapeutic Counselling.
I worked at Young Gloucestershire for 3 years. This is working with young people of all ages to 22. Whilst with Young Gloucester I also worked at Ipsum in Swindon. This was adult only. All NHS referrals.
I have had my private practice for 6 years.
